In this study, there were 30 participant of 11th grade student participants at Kharismawita High School who were taken from 75 population. The research method used is a quantitative design. Statistical processing methods use Pearson's correlation, correlation of determination, and t-test which aims to see whether or not there is a relationship between the two variables. In Variable X has the lowest score of 50 and the highest of 98 with mean = 80.6, median = 84.14, mode = 90.3, variance = 44.194, and standard deviation = 6.64. Meanwhile, in variable Y has the lowest value of 50 and the highest of 100 with mean = 83.1, median = 93, mode = 97.1, variance = 56.53, and standard deviation = 7.51. Pearson correlation test results have a value of 0.923 > 0.05, determination test results have a value of 85.1% and the t-test has a result of 12.650 > 2.042 (tcount > ttable). Based on the test results, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between the habit of watching English films and Reading Comprehension of English for grade 11 students at Kharismawita High School, therefore, it also shows that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.

2025-08-09T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Nurul Akmaliah, Zinedine Tanjung
